Veterans

While Honor Flights are suspended nationwide into Spring 2021 due to COVID-19 precautions, WE CONTINUE TO ACCEPT VETERAN APPLICATIONS!

Honor Flight Arizona recognizes you, our WWII veterans (served between December 7, 1941 & December 31, 1946), Korean War Veterans (served between June 25, 1950 & January 31, 1955), and Vietnam War Veterans (served between February 28, 1961 & May 7, 1975) for your sacrifices and achievements by flying you to Washington, D.C. to see YOUR Memorial at no cost to you.

NOTE: We started flying Vietnam War Veterans on October 15, 2019, selected from the oldest application on our Vietnam War waiting list. Each Honor Flight will likely be a mix of Korean War and Vietnam War Veterans, with some WWII Veterans on occasion, for the near future. Flight priority from our waiting lists starts with the oldest war (WWII), then Korean War, then Vietnam War to address the age/oldest of our Veterans.

For what you and your fellow veterans have given us, please consider this a small token of appreciation from all of us at Honor Flight Arizona. We owe so much to you, our WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans.

If you are a World War II, Korean War or Vietnam War Veteran, and you would like to see your memorial in Washington, D.C., please fill out the online application below. A downloadable form is available, however, processing is faster if the application is submitted online. Every World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War Veteran flies free, all trip expenses paid.

NOTE: Pursuant to a TSA security change, beginning October 1, 2021, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, state-issued enhanced driver’s license, or another acceptable form of ID to fly within the United States. If your Arizona driver’s license or ID does not have an embedded gold star, you won’t be able to fly. Learn more about how to obtain an Arizona Travel ID.

Volunteers, called Guardians, fly with the our Veterans on every flight to provide assistance and ensure that you have a safe, memorable, and rewarding experience. PLEASE NOTE: Your spouse, lady friend/man friend is not eligible to act as a guardian.

Visit our FAQ page for answers to questions about details of the trip, how we’re funded, which part of the state we serve, and other information. You may also call us at (928) 377-1020 or use the Contact Us page to send an e-mail.

Please specify your WWII, Korean War or Vietnam War service date in the online form (below) or printed application (link above).
