Remembering Volunteer Carol Taheny
It is with much sadness that Honor Flight Arizona announces the passing of our long-time Volunteer Carol Taheny. Carol lost her heroic 10-week battle with the Covid-19 virus on June 22nd in Phoenix, Arizona.
Carol resided with her husband Mike in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Both served the Veterans of Honor Flight Arizona for more than seven years.
Carol will always be remembered for her infectious smile and for her obvious love of our World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans. She, too served–in the United States Air Force, and will always remain as a cherished member of our Honor Flight Arizona team.

So thankful for Carol and her many years of service to our veterans! She always greeted me with a warm and gracious smile and hug, and a true, loving, caring heart for all that she came in contact with! We will miss her and all that she brought to Honor Flight AZ and our veterans.
